My print production centres around the idea of being a teenager in this current period of time through a combination of visual and auditory elements. The aim of the piece was for individuals to reflect on this passage of time and their experiences at this age. However due to COVID-19 restrictions, my initial plan had to be changed slightly meaning I had less opportunities to carry out my initial photographic shoots. Therefore, my production adapted to reflect this dramatic and evolving time with more of a focus on a personal experience rather than the social experience of a series of people. Each of the seven double page spreads reflects a certain theme of aspect of this age including a developing sense of self, friendship, self-doubt and the pressure of school. The accompanying songs support these themes and are supposed to be listened to whilst viewed.
