The first 2 panels represent the past, Imagery of the pandoras representing how evil, greed, power, abuse and violence came to exist and impact and influence our lives. The second 2 panels represent the present. Ideas of intergenerational trauma are highlighted, as the pains from the past result in the mental health problems illustrated in the 3rd panel and the 4th panel representing ways in which society copes with these pains The last 2 panels, on the far right, represent the future and our societies transformation into a more colourful, accepting and diverse world where all lives are valued and our pain is both acknowledged and transformed into beauty and creativity. |
