What is it and why should I do it?
Food has such a rich history, no matter where in the world you are. While food today might look quite different, most of what we have is based on techniques and ingredients that have taken centuries to develop and refine. Food is both changing everyday, but also being rediscovered.
We will dive into the food of the past both around the world, and here in Australia. We will look at how food supply has changed, and what has been preserved through the ages.
What will I do in class?
- Participate in a practical cooking classes by making various dishes
- Complete Design Work by creating your own dish
- Learn about the how the History of Food around the world has developed during theory classes, and apply that knowledge during weekly cooks.
