Students going into Year 10 at PHSC may apply to complete a Unit 1&2 VCE subject as part of their program. Students aiming to complete an early access VCE subject need to demonstrate maturity in their study habits and the ability to balance the demands of a VCE subject within their broader Year 10 program.
Selection Criteria:
- Attendance in Year 9 over 90%+
- Positive ratings for Effort and Engagement in all subjects
- Strong results in the subject area of the Advanced Study
- Recommendation from the Year 9 teacher in the relevant subject area
Please note that places in VCE subjects are not guaranteed and are dependent on Year 11 student numbers and the number of places available
