The Maylend Corporation is a multi-national corporation specialising in advanced future-technologies. Established in 2012, Maylend Corp rose to prominence through their advancement in the fields of energy and power, in particular the development of ‘Space Based Solar Power’.  Recently, Maylend Corp announced the development of technology for the ‘Maylend Rectenna’, a specialised type of receiving antenna which converts electromagnetic energy to direct current for practical use.  Maylend intends to make this technology portable so that a constant energy supply can be accessed in remote areas.  Maylend required an industrially produced portable rectenna (a rectifying antenna – a type of receiving antenna that is used for converting electromagnetic energy into direct current electricity) to be designed as well as a new visual identity for the solar/energy division of the company.
