What is it and why should I do it?
Year 10 Numeracy Pathways focuses on developing practical mathematical skills for everyday life through an applied learning approach. The course is centred on two key areas:
- Health and Recreational Numeracy: Covers understanding health-related information, recreational activities, timekeeping in sports, cooking, and creation/measurement aspects in hobbies.
- Civic Numeracy: Focuses on community participation through understanding government and societal data, simple statistics, risk, and likelihood associated with everyday civic life.
