Covers the struggle for civil rights and freedoms in USA and Australia and explores other struggles in Ireland and South Africa as well as current struggles for equality. This subject is recommended for those students interested in studying VCE Legal Studies, Politics and Modern History.
Throughout this subject students will use lectures, documentary studies, inquiry based student investigations and class discussions to get a clear understanding of the struggle for rights and freedoms in Australia and the world.
