What is it and why should I do it?

Follow the rise of a modern superpower from revolution to becoming a key global force. Covers the collapse of Imperial China, the rise of Communist China under Mao Zedong and the development of the one party state that is modern China under the control of Xi Jinping. This subject is recommended for those students interested in studying VCE Modern History, Politics and Revolutions. 

What will I do in class?

Throughout this subject students will use lectures, documentary studies, inquiry based student investigations and class discussions to get a clear understanding of China's modern development.
