Ashwin is a municipality in Southern Victoria and the Ashwin Council is the elected body that represent its residents.  Over the last decade the Ashwin Council have focused on advertising the region as a tourist hub to promote and assist local businesses. The council has promoted the region as a place, renowned for its delicious fresh food and wide-open sea views. With the introduction of their annual food festival "Food 'n' Wine", the council needed a convention centre to be designed to house the festival and other events.  The council also required a new visual identity to be designed for promotional and marketing purposes.
