The intention of my photographic series is to explore the genre of suspense within a city-suburban setting which is authentic to that which I and the community at Princes Hill are familiar with. I wish to entertain by challenging the domestic and suburban visual experience we engage with daily in layering a more sinister atmosphere over it. My media production is highly reflective of a year which I have mostly spent confined to my local area and home, and documents both the beauty and ominous gloom I have witnessed here.
