Maths Methods Units 3&4 builds on the work done in Units 1&2. We cover similar topics (Functions and Relations, Calculus, Circular Functions, Logs and Exponentials, Probability) but go into greater depth and detail. The focus is on applications and applying the mathematical skills learned to problem solving and modelling tasks.
All Unit 3 and 4 subjects require 3-5 hours of study per week.
Brief description of what sort of work the home work is – eg regular practice questions, extra background reading and research, attending art exhibitions etc
List of SACs and percentage weighting to study score, plus exam study score weighting
To pass any VCE unit you need to demonstrate that you have met the Outcomes.
