By choosing In this subject , students will be able to be creative through a study of the ‘Steampunk’ movement in literature, film making, design and art. Students' will produce objects with a SteamPunk theme by designing and making objects from a combination of unwanted, reusable, second-hand as well as new materials. This will be facilitated by working with metals and related materials found at home and at school. learn about:
the technical and creative aspects of photography, including how to use digital cameras and other photographic equipment
how composition, lighting, colour and focus can be used to create meaning in images
how editing software can be used to enhance, manipulate, and refine photographic works
different photographic styles and techniques used by contemporary and historical photographers
Students will be required to:
research and analyse the work of photographers to inform their own ideas
plan and produce a series of photographs based on set themes and concepts
edit and present photographic works using industry-standard software
document their creative process and reflect on their technical and artistic development
