What is it and why should I do it?
Covers the origins and course of the Asian and European theaters of war, the Holocaust, the ethics of the atomic bombing of Japan and the rivalry between Hitler and Stalin. It also explores Australia's role in WW2 including the Kokoda campaign and the impact of war on the home-front. This subject is recommended for those students interested in studying VCE Modern History and Revolutions.
What will I do in class?
Throughout this subject students will use lectures, documentary studies, inquiry based student investigations and class discussions to get a clear understanding of the history and outcomes of WWII.
