| Name: Ella Perkins Title: Heartstring Osker Morieson Title of work: A Dispossessed DiscourseMedium: Short FilmA Dispossessed Discourse was written in response to such lockdown restrictions, in order to produce something within the parameters of a covid-19 safe environment.Bronstein is a lonely outlier squatting in the attic of a suburban home. In order to survive he must remain elusive to the tenants, a couple, who live below. Only stealing small rations at a time in order to avoid suspicion, Bronstein’s unwittingly begins to instigate marital disputesVideo An experimental short film that explores cinematic conventions in a non-narrative sense. Thje narrative is told through dance. The film will inform the audience less of the actual relationship between the main dancer and the people she is surrounded by, but more the effects of her anxiety on these relationships, almost demonstrating the relationship between her anxiety and the people surrounding her. |
