For my media project I will be focussing on sound and film together into one medium - specifically focusing on poetry and ambient music which compliments a short film. The style of the production is raw and not heavily produced.

The purpose of my production is to entertain and engage viewers with themes such as isolation, relationships, and our own mortality.e

Title of Work: Birdwatching

Medium: Film (Music Video)

Birdwatching is an abstract 'music video'. It contains imagery which is inspired from psychedelia music videos as the music is instrumental and unconventional in its genre. The depicted subject matter shows a person scenically dawdling with binoculars presumably bird watching. The person looks through the binoculars in both close-up and wide distanced shots, seeing shots of birds and also shots of fauna. The music video doesn’t carry an obvious narrative and is instead subject and ambiguous in meaning. The music plays a role in interpretation – the audience might perceive the music as calming someone else might envision a more sinister tone.
