What is it and why should I do it?

It was one of the worlds worst atrocities. But how did it start? What happened? How did it shape the modern world?  Covers the origins and course of the Asian and Pacific theaters of war, the Holocaust, the ethics of the atomic bombing of Japan and the rivalry between Hitler and Stalin. This subject is recommended for those students interested in studying VCE Modern History and Revolutions. 

What will I do in class?

Throughout this subject students will use lectures, documentary studies, inquiry based student investigations and class discussions to get a clear understanding of the history and outcomes of WWII.
