What will I do in class?

Throughout this subject students will use lectures, documentary studies, inquiry based student investigations and class discussions to get a clear understanding of the struggle for rights and freedoms in Australia and the world.

There are a range of assessment tasks in this unit including:

  • An essay comparing the civil rights movements in USA and Australia
  • Image analysis - contextualizing key events.
