| Aylin Mulayim Title of work:UntitledMedium: PhotographyThe intention of my photographic series is to explore the genre of suspense within a city-suburban setting which is authentic to that which I and the community at Princes Hill are familiar with. I wish to entertain by challenging the domestic and suburban visual experience we engage with daily in layering a more sinister atmosphere over it. My media production is highly reflective of a year which I have mostly spent confined to my local area and home, and documents both the beauty and ominous gloom I have witnessed hereMy Destruction by HanteFilm/Music VideoMy intention was to create a music video with aspects of the suspense and psychological horror genres. The plot of the music video revolves around a female protagonist who believes she is being followed home by a man who leered at her earlier, yet this turns out to be a delusion. The main purpose of this piece is to entertain and couple the eerie sound of the dark wave song “My Destruction” by Hante. |
