Students’ research focuses on the visual analysis of artworks and investigates how artists have interpreted sources of inspiration and influences in their art making. Students examine how artists have used materials, techniques and processes to create aesthetic qualities and how they have developed styles and explored their cultural identity in their artwork. Students use this knowledge to inform their own art making.

What will I do in class?
During class time student will investigate a diverse range of ideas, techniques and concepts necessary for the production of finished artwork. In Studio Arts Photography this will include camera techniques, digital imaging, digital printing, video production and experimental approaches to image making.
