The Victorian Government announced on the 7th April 2020 that all children who can learn at home must learn from home – with exceptions only in extremely limited circumstances. Victorian government schools will conduct remote and flexible learning with students from Wed 15th April and these arrangements will remain in place for the duration of Term 2 and will then be reviewed.

Please reference the Department - Learning from home website for further information. Princes Hill Secondary College will use this page to provide remote and flexible learning information for our community, including parents/carers, students and staff.

Remote Learning Curriculum Information

The curriculum to be delivered during any period of remote learning has been reviewed to ensure:

  1. Continuity of Learning
Students will continue their education and be prepared for the next stage of their learning.

  2. Suitability for Remote Learning
Some Learning Areas have re-sequenced curriculum to prioritize the topics and units of work most suitable for remote and independent learning. Many practical subjects have rewritten curriculum to adapt to the constraints of what students can achieve at home.

Remote Learning Support

For support on Remote Learning:

Note that the school cannot provide home network support and the family should contact the relevant internet service provider for assistance on those matters.
